Please save the date for Thursday, July 7th 2007 for a Lecture by Dan Mazur an Explorers Club Fellow who made news in May of 2006 for leading a team of climbers on Mount Everest that saved Lincoln Hall a climber that had been left for dead by another expedition. Kristina Hagman on "36 Views of Mt Rainer and Mt Fuji"
Kristina will help us set the mood for Dan's talk on Mountaineering with a exhibit of some of her woodblock prints of "36 Views of Mount Rainer". Kristina will talk briefly of her work and its inspiration the mountain and the artist Hokusai who made a famous series of prints "36 Views of Mount Fuji" in the late 1700s and early 1800's.
